The KPS technology development is driven by the globally recognised renewable energy requirements; reduced dependency on fossil fuels; energy security and to reduce the impact of climate change.

The cost target for the KPS technology will allow onshore and offshore kite arrays to be developed without Government subsidies and offers a technology that can be deployed in locations where conventional wind can’t.
