Simon has been employed in energy sector for over 25 years and has held senior management positions at SSE and then Infinis for the past 10 years. A chartered mechanical engineer, Simon has managed development and construction teams in some of the largest onshore wind farms now in operation in Britain, including Clyde, Griffin, Gordonbush and Galawhistle. Simon’s enthusiasm for, and experience in, the renewable energy sector will complement the talented team already in place at KPS as it develops its unique technology towards full commercial deployment.
Paul was FD at Marine Current Turbines between 2005 and 2015. Paul is supporting KPS with the business planning, financial forecasting and overall business model.
Bill is an experienced engineer and entrepreneur with a track record of developing pioneering winch systems and cranes for the marine industry and leading the development in multiple cleantech businesses.
David is a senior manager, project manager and engineer with nearly 20 years experience with successful start up companies, the last being Marine Current Turbines which was acquired by Siemens in 2012.
Colin worked with SSE between 2008 and 2017, where he primarily focused on offshore windfarm development. He was the Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Development Project Manager for nearly five years leading the project to consent in March 2014. Colin was also Asset Manager for SSE on the Forewind (Dogger Bank) Offshore Windfarm Development Joint Venture. Before SSE, Colin worked at Airtricity in the UK, Ireland and the USA working in various onshore wind project and business development roles.
